What is podiatry?
Podiatry, also known as Chiropody, is the name given to the branch of medicine
that deals with the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases
and conditions of the foot, ankle and the lower limb.

Wendy qualified as a podiatrist following 3 years of study
at the Wales Centre for Podiatric Studies located at the
University of Wales Institute Cardiff (UWIC) where she gained a
Bachelor of Science Degree in Podiatric Medicine.
Wendy, who is trained to the highest standards, is registered with the
Health Professions Council and is also a member of the
Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists.

Wendy is able to offer a range of treatments to help ease foot pain
caused by various conditions, helping to maintain mobility and independence.

  • Corns/callus
  • Verrucae
  • Diabetic foot problems
  • Foot pain
  • Cracked heels
